Internships
DCPS is currently seeking interns and volunteers to help run our athletic programming. Interns work on a variety of projects including event prep, facilitating athletic contests, and developmental work for new sports. Read the full job description. Become a School Athletic Director
Most high schools and some middle schools employ full-time athletic directors to manage their sports programs. School athletic directors are responsible for recruiting coaches and students, managing student eligibility, purchasing and inventorying team equipment, and preparing their sites for athletic competitions, among other things. Several athletic director positions open up every year. We maintain a pool of qualified candidates to recommend to principals searching for new athletic directors.
